*Gross, ugly sobbing* LOOK IT'S GABRIEL AND ELENI OMG HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN?! Please full-full-view it guys, it's huge and I bust my hump on the detail work on this one...

Okay, I'm late on the bandwagon with this one, I know, because I draw so slowly. I've had a couple of weeks for this to sink in now and I hurt. I mean, I'm delighted, I've been stubbornly refusing to believe Gabriel was dead for years, but I hurt for him... 

I also thought about what this would do to Eleni. It's been 8 years that she believed Gabriel to be dead. She would have mourned, and according to lore, naiads can die of a broken heart. So she would have had to find a reason to keep going after the loss of him. I can see her sinking into hunting, specifically hunting rogue angels, out of an embittered, grief-fuelled vengeance. She'd cut off her hair, her tan would fade, everything would be about the work, she'd become withdrawn and cold and refuse to make a connection again... 

But then after 8 years Gabriel is alive..

I can't put into words what this is doing to me. I don't want to be articulate. I just want to feel my feelings. *Rolls up in her duvet and eats a bucket of ice-cream*
